Nirit & Amir start off by explaining that the delivery of images is starting point of the products and services that they offer through Pic-Time. Their aim is to make the experience for the end-client to be pleasant, beautiful and engaging when they recieve a gallery. They place particular emphasise on the client recieving printed images as part of the overall experience of working with a professional photographer – which is an important way to set onself apart from the sea of photographers.
They also explain how the algorithm is programmed to personalise the viewing and buying experience for each individual user because it tracks the way that they use the gallery. This also applies to the email campaigns (marketing automation system) that showcase the clients images.
We also talked about the Slideshow feature and the many ways that it can be utilised by photographers. In one aspect, it offers photographers the ability to create video content using their images – which is becoming more and more important in this day and age. For instance, photographers are able to use the portrait orientation of the slideshow and share it easily on social media. We also discussed how slideshows can be used as an add-on for the client or even an upsell.
